The objective of FAD deployment is two fold.   First, to promote a healthy environment where fish species can congregate and find a food source and second, to enhance the fishing experience for both anglers and divers alike.  

 

The goal of this site is spread the word and to encourage not only the expansion of FADS, but to collect data from these areas that will guide the future of FAD engineering and deployment.

While a hallmark of the fishing culture is to hold secret the location and counts of species, this site aims to change that by publishing and gathering data from FAD sites thereby promoting the responsible use and support of these structures for all to enjoy.
